2021 LSAC National Conference

On May 19, 2021, I was honored to provide two workshops for the Learning Specialists Association of Canada’s annual national conference. Having been the conference Keynote speaker in 2015, it was great connecting with many of my colleagues from the north and beyond!

Trench Data: Data that matter about students who matter

Here are a few slides from the session.

In the first session, I introduced my new Trench Data model. Institutions are constantly spending time and energy trying to solve those tricky retention, completion and graduation rate challenges. Well, Trench Data empowers institutions to solve these problems once and for all by extracting new sources of data that are freely available and right under their noses. Using the AP3 as its framework, learning centers can truly lead their institutions out of uncertainty and build a vibrant and rewarding learning environment!
STARTING STURDY AND STRONG: 3 TACTICS FOR STARTING STUDENTS SUCCESSFULLY
In the second session, I highlighted 3 tactics we can use to help students start the academic year off sturdy and strong. Using these three tactics, students will be set up for success in any course they take!
Here’s a sneak peek at the slides.
