Faculty Colloquium and Learning Assistant Professionals’ Workshop
West Virginia Wesleyan educators are seeking to make a greater impact on their teaching and learning culture. This project featured two events: an introduction to metacognition and application of strategies for faculty, and a metacognitive workshop for educators who work with students primarily outside of the classroom. Participants responded well to the metacognitive approach. I’m looking forward to hearing about the enhancements that result from this event.
